Open for Commissions

For a limited time, Lindsay is open for personal commissions. The price is $50 for a one (1) character, color image. Your choice of her small bodied, Tiny Cutie style, or animal art. No scenes or full size characters. Note that this offer is only for individuals. Companies, please contact us for our professional rates.

A couple of ground rules from Lindsay:

1) You *must* supply me with reference images of your character. I will work from photo ref if you have a pet you'd like me to draw. I *won't* design new characters, they must already exist. Note that the character ref doesn't need to be in chibi form--I will reinterpret your character as a chibi.

2) Payment is due upfront. Your payment must be received before a slot will be reserved. You can buy as multiple slots if you wish.

3) To streamline the process, no revisions are allowed. All you will receive is the final image, no step by step sketches.

4) I retain the copyright to the artwork (but you keep the copyright to your character, of course!). You will be allowed to post the image on DeviantArt or other online places as you please, but the artwork may not be used for commercial purposes.

Here's how the process will work:

You e-mail me (LCibos@jaredandlindsay.com) with reference images of the character you want me to draw, and a basic description of the pose, if desired. Keep it simple. Good examples: "seated and smiling" or "yelling while kicking a leg in the air". BAD examples: "right leg goes here and left hand is on knee while the character is turned at a 3/4 angle".

At the same time, you send $50 to my paypal account (LCibos@jaredandlindsay.com). I won't start without payment.

Then, I will draw and color your character, and send the completed image back your e-mail address. At this point, you'll have the option to also purchase the print ($10) and/or the original art ($15) for the piece.

That's pretty much it! First come, first serve. I'll do them in the order I receive them.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Issue 98 of Sabrina the Teenage Witch came out this month. You'll be able to find it at your local comic book store, or on the newsstands (book stores, grocery stores). Lindsay worked on the issue as penciler. She also worked on issues 92, 96, and 97. Be sure to check them all out!

Comics, comics everywhere!

Last Dance, a short gothic romance story about love, loss, and learning to let go, was a finalist in Kodansha’s 2nd Morning Magazine International Manga Contest (M.I.M.C.). It's now online for your reading pleasure.

New York Comic Con

Lindsay will be participating in a Storytelling and Manga panel at Tokyopop' booth on Sunday, April 20 from 12:00 - 1:00. It's a 45 minute talk, followed by a 15-minute book signing. Please stop by and see her and don't forget to get your copies of Peach Fuzz to get signed while you're there.

Southwest Florida Reading Festival

Jared and I will be doing a presentation and question-and-answer session on the creation of Peach Fuzz at Southwest Florida Reading Festival on Saturday, March 15, in Fort Myers, Florida. Our talk is scheduled on the Teen Stage from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Immediately following will be a book signing at the Books-a-Million tent.
